The Goals

Goal 1

"Pursue Excellence in Instruction"

The goal 1 talks about a program and new courses that the university will offer. For me, we must have that courses because we are now a university. The university must contain lots of courses to be offer to their students. But the university must provide a proper facilities for teaching and learning process. They must give a conducive room so that they can focus and they can really learn.

Goal 2

"Pursue Excellence in Research"

Everyone can have their research. But if we talk about the research that we can represent our university we really need a conducive area or room for research. I will really appreciate if they can make that goal 2 visible in the future. It can really help for the researchers to have that kind of environment.

Goal 3

"Pursue Excellence in Extension"

For the goal 3, its nice that they have plans for the extensions schools. Because it is one way to be recognized the extension school. Mostly extension school are not really recognized because they think that the standard of the main school is more high than the extension school. This is one way to change the wrong thoughts of the people about the extension school.

Goal 4

"Establish the Center of Energy and Environment"

Though research extension and development establishing the center of energy and environment is possible, but the university should consider many things such as money or financial, time, and it includes students. We need them towards the development of energy research with in the school. With out them they cant make goal 4 possible.

Goal 5

"Promote Student Affairs, Welfare and Sucess"

I like the idea of goal 4 because, it can help to bring back the expectations of the university. Like the statement in number 5 “ strengthen the reward system for student achievements”. Student is the most important stakeholders in the university. Without us the university will not function. They must recognized so that they will develop physically and mentally.

Goal 6

"Maximize Library and other Resources Support to the Teaching, Learning, and Research Environment"

The university need this goal 6. it really help the students in their learning process. It also help to improve the students and teacher to easily access in the library and e-lib. If this goal will be possible he students will now longer go to the Internet cafe just to make their projects.

Goal 7

"Implement Massive Infrastructure Development"

I like this goal because the students, teachers and the faculties really need it. Like the student dormitory, the student really need that specially the students who are not living in the city. As a competitive university we should improve our building or rooms.

Goal 8

"Implement Massive Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Development"

For me, we really need this fully automate management information systems because it is useful to us students and also it help the university to increased the expectation of the people or in community around the university.

Goal 9

"Pursue Outstanding Human and Organizational Development"

This goal is very important. The university must recruit an outstanding teachers and staff so that they can teach or facilitate will the most important stakeholders of the university.

Goal 10

"Ensure more Efficient and Effective Resource Management and Generation"

I like the idea of goal 10. the university must provide or finance the various program s and project because it helps to improve he university and the students as well.
